Our Founder
Hi, I’m Lovely J. Cauthen , a multi-credentialed Health Information Management (HIM) professional, medical coding educator, and founder of The Lovely Coder Academy™, a division of The Lovely Coder®.
My journey into healthcare was built through perseverance, faith, and determination. I started with limited resources but a vision for something greater, not only for myself, but for my family and future generations. Through dedication and continuous learning, I earned multiple nationally recognized credentials, including CCS, CPC, CRCR, and CSBI, while gaining real-world experience in health information management, revenue cycle, and medical coding.
Along the way, I discovered a deeper purpose: helping others realize that a career in healthcare is possible, even when the path feels uncertain.
I created The Lovely Coder Academy™ because I understand firsthand what it feels like to want more out of life and your career, yet not know where to begin. Today, I teach the very pathways I once searched for providing education, encouragement, and real-world insight to help future healthcare professionals grow with confidence.
